Integrity Benchmarking

Integrity Benchmarking is a key tool to monitor and evaluate management practices against goals by comparing the past with the current situation. Adopting Integrity Benchmarking and making the results public increases transparency, accountability and participation. Integrity Benchmarking also serves as a Learning Tool through reviewing decisions and comparing them with others in order to identify Best Management Practices.

We have developed a Process-Oriented Integrity Benchmarking Tool that measures progress on transparency, accountability and participation as well as the impact on performance using indicators such as capacity, efficiency and effectiveness. The results are discussed with all the stakeholders allowing integrity strategies to be reformulated in order to improve performance.

Integrity benchmarking is a part of our Pactitioner’s Tool Box which is suitable to evaluate the impact of the Development Pacts on performance.
